YOUTH: Part of the Body of Christ!

Young people today face some of the most difficult spiritual challenges ever. In a world that is often indifferent or even hostile to God, how can their faith survive? Thankfully, they are not without help! God has them in His heart and has put them in the hearts of the people of Christian Life Center.

Our goal is to help build a relevant system of support and encouragement that will speak the language of love to our teens. Currently we have a Youth Discovery Class that meets Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM. Pastor Mark teaches and interacts with the youth on their level, helping them find answers and support in their relationship with God and with others.

We also launched a Youth Nite that meets each Thursday at 6:00 PM. There are games, friendship, worship, prayer, and interaction. One of the goals of this night is to raise up leaders from among the youth who will become equipped to lead others spiritually.

To help facilitate effective ministry to teens, we plan to finish the upstairs of our building and provide a Youth Center where more and more teens can come to hang out, have fun, and find the spiritual help they need. We believe this will help create a healthy identity for our teens, fostering a sense of value and purpose. The price tag for this project may be well over $100,000, but what is that compared to the value of just one teen who comes to know Jesus and follows Him?
